The Keychron Big Kitty Paw Key is a giant mechanical switch that adds a playful touch to your desk. Learn how to set it up, customize it, and why it makes a great conversation piece.
Quick Answer
The Keychron Big Kitty Paw Key is a giant, single-key mechanical switch that works as a desk toy, a stress reliever, or a unique macro button for your Mac or Windows setup.
What Makes the Big Kitty Paw Key Different
Unlike standard keycaps, this is a full-size novelty device that sits on your desk. It uses a real mechanical switch, so it has the same satisfying click or thock as your keyboard. It connects via USB-C and is recognized by your computer as a standard keyboard key, meaning you can assign any function to it using QMK or the Keychron Launcher web app.
Limitations to Consider
Because it's a single key, it won't replace your keyboard. It's also wired-only, so you need a free USB-C port. The large size means it takes up desk space, and the novelty factor may not appeal to everyone. Additionally, no discount codes can be applied to this product.
