The ANSI knob version dropped in without any filing or force, and the rigid aluminum really tightens up the overall feel of the typing experience. Sturdier than the stock plate, no flex at all when I bottom out.

Alexander ★★★★★ Oct 20, 2026

I swapped the stock plate for this aluminum version and the whole keyboard feels much more solid and premium. The ANSI layout fits perfectly, no issues with alignment.

The machining on this plate is spot-on, every screw hole lines up perfectly with my V5's case. It adds a much sturdier feel to the whole build, and the ANSI layout fit without any filing or tweaking.
